Delicious Haircut Trends to Dominate 2022
2022 is here and with that comes new haircut trends. We’ve got all the new trends so you can dress like you’re winning and manifest it while you are at it. Biggest trends right now are either to cut it all off or grow it out. Both extremes but both we can get behind.
You’ll see lots of buzzcuts and pixies and grown-out bangs that turn into layered haircuts. Either way everyone seems to be more adventurous with their hair these days and we are here for it!
So, what’s next for you – take a look at these 2022 cuts:
The Boy Bob

Good news Bobs remain popular and will continue to dominate through 2022. It’s a classic and there are endless ways to style and wear it. The blunt boy bob will be the one to watch for sure.
Natural texture

Another huge trend for 2022? Embracing what we’ve got and accentuating it even more. Yes, you heard us people want believable hair – nothing that is fake. So put down that flat iron and let your natural texture show.
Grown-out curtain bangs

If you fancy a change without the commitment grown-out bangs will be mega popular. Having that extra volume at the front will give hair shape. Fringes in general will be on trend, but we love that 70’s winged fringe that’s shorter in the middle and really long towards the sides.
Cascading fringe

For the curly girls, a cascading fringe is it! These are cut around eyelash-length which help to show-off beautiful curl patterns but also leaves room for loads of styling options. What we love most about this is that it can be worn down or worn up in top knots with the curls shaping your face.
New-gen shag

There’s no doubt shags have already made a complete come back but it has finally become more accessible to all of us. This year you’ll see more variations of the shag like midi shag, cool razored fringes with a little 70’s bang and layers that are razored, sliced and choppy with the length kept throughout the back.
Tailored layers

Full hair is in ladies and just like that long sleek hair is big in 2022, with barely there styling. Similar to hairstyles like “The Rachel” and supermodel blowouts. We’ll also see a lot more layers being cut into hair to perfectly personalize the look to each individual.
With all that being said its time to bring in your own individual hairstyle in 2022

Wow , beautiful. For this year , I decided to grow my hair and I am loving having full hair.
For me Bob is the best….
I will be trying a nice longer layered cut with long curtain bangs and just having my natural spring curls run the show!!! I have really thick hair that is really long just touching my upper ‘assets’ and I have all-natural spring curls in my 100% natural virgin chocolate brown color. So I always stick to a longer cut because I have a rounded face and shorter hair doesn’t really work for me. So I might go mid-back lengthwise but nothing really that drastic in terms of change.
Grown-out curtain bangs with some crazy hair color
i’m loving the natural texture hair
I love these hairstyles but I would also love to see african hair❣
I Have natural hair in an afro but would love to try something new
I love the natural look but would love to try the cascading fringe look.♡♡
i decided to blow out my hair after maintaining my natural afro for over 4 years. i wouldn’t even feel my unique hairstyle because it would look messy and old after barely a week. now i plaited a stylish straight up cornrows and i’m flexing because it will last longer. overall, afro hair issa scam and high maintenance
I love the natural black hair.
