Bye bye Summer ☀️

Where are our Winter babies at? Some of you might agree that Winter is the best season. Hold your horses we aren’t here yet but it’s safe to say that we are definitely nearing another season change and with that comes new trendy fashion staples to go along with it.

A season change is essentially the perfect time to reinvent your style or take some fashion risks you were hesitant to the year prior.

Anyway, we thought to give you a little round up on the trends for the upcoming Winter season:

Maxi-ed Out

It seems the maxi skirt will be having a moment this winter. Maybe this was prompted by the “ugly skirt” trend loved by Bella Hadid and Kendal Jenner. Whether it’s denim, cargo, or satin chances you will be reaching for maxi hemlines this season.

Biker Chic(k)

Expect to see edgier fashion la bikercore. It’s all about faux-leather pants, motorcross jackets and heavy boots and we are so here for it.

Puddle Pants

This is a term for a pair of jeans or trousers that are long enough that they puddle at your ankle. Every celeb from Kylie Jenner to Kate Middleton. Unfortunately, this trend isn’t the most city-living-friendly for winter time especially when it starts to rain but if you do decide to give it a try make sure you have a dry cleaner close by.

“Naked” Dressing

This trend seems to be the going-out outfit choice and it’s not going away anytime soon – even when temperatures change. Sheer dresses are no stranger to the fashion world where we have seen of recent celebs like Olivia Wilde embracing the style wearing a long sleeve, maxi version of the naked dress. Perfect for Winter!

Attention-grabbing Faux Fur

Designers are getting creative with this functional and fashionable style. Incorporating bold-coloured faux furs and ultra-fluffy options. Considering we spend most of Winter bundled up in coats, we might as well look good doing it.

Gothic Undertones

Embracing our inner Wednesday Addams. Gothcore is another edgy aesthetic that is going to have a moment this upcoming season. This trend consists of black, black and more black. Seems simple enough!

90’s Minimalism

We are also seeing a shift towards simpler “90’s-style silhouettes. Think more muted tones like browns, greys, creams and blacks are going to be the colour palette for the season – if you are subscribing to the trend that is.

    Honestly I cannot wait for winter BECAUSE WOW summer makes me really sick I can’t cope in Summer. My skin allegies are worse in summer so come winter I am ready.
