KEEP DAZZLING IN A ‘FRO – Before the lockdown started I planned to go do braids to be ready for the Zoom work calls but decided otherwise few hours before my appointment. I realized this would be a great time to learn how to take care of my one year in ‘Fro and keeping my hair healthy👸🏾🌻 – I joined the @rubybox_beauty gems this month💎😃👌🏾 and they came through with how-to videos of beautiful hairstyles from @allthingshairsa 💆🏾‍♀️😁 I couldn’t choose one so I decided to try all three over the past two weeks😊 Not bad for a 1st try💁🏾‍♀️ Thankful for all the ladies sharing natural hair tips & tricks over the lockdown – we love them! These were inspired by @itslaurina and @nuzhahjacobs💛. We keep learning #GrowFest🌻✌🏾 – #Rubybox #AllThingsHairSA #RubyboxATH #Slaydown #FierceFroHawk #AccessorisedLowPuff #AccessorisedTwists #SkyscraperSandz

Fierce FroHawk

I absolutely love creating styles with my natural hair as it's fairly easy plus it gives me time out from braids. I don't experiment with styles a lot, it's literally just braids and twistouts so I've decided to recreate this frohawk I've seen on the @allthingshairsa channel, done originally by @itslaurina . I've done a frohawk years ago when I had pink hair and don't quite know why I haven't done it more often. The braids on the side was new to me so I initially made them too short. This was done on freshly washed hair with only a leave in conditioning cream by @cantubeautysouthafrica. I sectioned my hair in 3 parts, tied each part with a rubber band and fluffed it. Hers were done with hair pieces but I didn't have any so my own hair had to do the trick. What do you think? Slay or nay? #rubybox #allthingshairsa #rubyboxath #misspretorius @rubybox_beauty @allthingshairsa Music: Brown eyed girl by Tevin Campbell

So before lockdown began. I cut my hair thinking it was the right thing to do. I got many compliments, then during lockdown I kept cutting and growing. New year started and I decided to braid my hair. Now it’s been three whole months my hair is beginning to tie and it’s been free from relexer. Best of all no combing everyday.
