Rise Up Cape Town Event [Photos, Videos & Feedback]

The name Rise Up came from the well-known quote ‘We rise by lifting others’ which then evolved to incorporate RUBY acronym, Rise Up Beautiful You.

Our Rise Up events were created to celebrate our rubies and to remind them to always Rise Up Beautiful You. We want each of our rubies to know that when you learn to love yourself and you know that you are a strong, beautiful, unique, courageous and ambitious woman – there is nothing that can stop YOU.

Saturday the 8^th of June marked our very first rubybox Rise Up event which was held in Cape Town and proudly sponsored by NIVEA.  (Click here to read the reviews from the event)

All who attended received a gorgeous NIVEA goodie bag as they entered the event – click here to view and buy the products that were included.

 

225 rubies arrived and were all dressed in white which is the dress code/theme for all our Rise Up events. (“White can be used to represent a successful beginning and we hope that this event, and the young women you meet there, will inspire you on the start of your successful beginning.”)

 

 

MC for the event was the lovely Venencia Mhonde, who introduced our speakers and lead our rubies through the day. Venencia is the founder of ‘The Middle Women’ and she too is very passionate about empowering women.

A variety of topics were covered on the day by our speakers so there was something for everyone – from fashion to fitness, from motivation to inspiration to advice on love and relationships, to building your own brand.

Next Stop – Rise Up Johannesburg

Our next Rise Up event will be taking place in Johannesburg on Saturday the 3^rd of August – tickets go on sale next week so keep a lookout for our email – you don’t want to miss it.
