Lavender Sea Salt Scrub/Bath soak
Every women loves a nice bath. This mix is perfect if you are looking to unwind and relax after a busy day. Light some candles and enjoy your mini home spa. Just mix the following ingredients together and add a spoon or two to your bath. 7 tablespoons of sweet almond oil + 4 tablespoons of coarse sea salt + 4 drops of lavender essential oil = bliss
Luxurious Lemon Sugar Body Scrub
This scrub is perfect to add to your shower routine! Mix a few tablespoons of sugar with 2 cups of olive oil and a few tablespoons of lemon juice. Apply generously and rub in a circular motion, starting at the top of your body and working your way down. Your skin will feel soft, smooth and smell delicious.
Cinnamon and Lemon Body Scrub
Another perfect scrub for warm winter baths. Mix 1 cup of granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, 1 cup of olive oil and a squeeze of lemon juice in a small bowl then rub it into your skin using circular movements.
Rose Petal Sugar Body Scrub
This scrub is not only good for your skin, but also for relaxing your mind with its amazing scent. Mix 1 cup virgin of coconut oil, 1 cup of granulated sugar, a few drops of essential rose oil and organic rose petals in a jar and you are about to experience a new level of homemade spa treatment. Coffee and olive oil body scrub
Not only does the coffee exfoliate the skin,help with circulation, plump up the skin and smooth your skins texture, but also helps reduce the appearance of cellulite. So this scrub is perfect to do before date night. Mix 3 tablespoons of coconut oil + 2 tablespoon of olive oil + Equal parts of raw sugar + ground coffee = perfection
The simplest body scrub of them all
Everyone has these ingredients in their kitchen, and this is one of the most popular home-made body scrub recipes of them all. For an all over skin softening and moisturising body scrub, simply mix sugar and some olive oil into a paste. Tan-fail fixing body scrub
Has your at home spray tan turned out blotchy or just a tad bit too orange? Then this scrub will help tone down those unsightly marks and streaks – the citric acid in the lemons will tone down the darker patches. Mix 3 tablespoons of raw honey, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 4 tablespoons of sugar and the juice of one lemon.
Refreshing peppermint body scrub
Late night? This is an invigorating and refreshing body scrub that will be great for your skin and your senses. Mix 3 tablespoons of sugar, 4 tablespoons of almond oil, a few drops of peppermint essential oil. Optional – add a few drops of pomegranate juice to turn your scrub into a beautiful pink colour.
Honey and sugar body scrub
A nourishing and hydrating scrub for really dry skin. Simply mix some honey and sugar into a paste, and rub gently over the body. Honey also has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, so it will help clear up any minor skin infections too.
Ginger and coconut oil body scrub
This home-made body scrub recipe will re-energise your skin and it will also help reduce redness, as ginger is an anti-inflammatory. Mix 1 tablespoon of coarsely chopped and blended ginger, 3 tablespoons of coconut oil, 3 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil.
