Burning Out Is No Joke

These 6 celebrities show us that the burnout culture effects us all. More and more, celebrities are opening up about their experiences with chronic exhaustion, overwork, and burnout.

Tiffany Haddish – Well known comedian admitted that her burnout lead to her bomb out during her New Year’s Eve performance last year. She admits that in 2018 she only slept in her own bed for 28 days which lead to her over exhaustion this is why rest is so important.

Beyonce – Beyonce has not been one to hide her multiple experiences with burnout over the years. In 2011 she even took off a year of working in order to focus on her mental well-being. She admitted that she lived her days in the fast lane, worrying but her next meeting, her next performance and never took time out of her day to just relax and be still.

Meghan Markle – During early stages of her pregnancy the Duchess of Sussex, skipped a trip to Zambia with Prince Harry due to the exhaustion she was experiencing. The decision to put your well-being first, and bow out of work obligations is one we should learn to follow.

Selena Gomez – Selena Gomez is the one celeb who has been open with the world about her burn out experiences. She took time away from work as well as social media in order to focus on her mental well-being. According to a interview she had with Vogue she has found her happy medium and is no longer anxiously awaiting for someone to judge a piece of her work or her latest photo posted to social media.

Hilary Duff – Hilary Duff faced many challenges about burnout over the years. She has made it known that this type of exhaustion is not fixed with one night of sleep.

Lilly Singh – Well known YouTube comedian took time out from her channel as a result of burnout. She admitted that she was mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually exhausted and was not able to address these issues when she was constantly pumping out content day in and day out.

It is therefore important that when you feel yourself on the verge of a burnout that you tune in and find out ways to address it before it becomes even worse.
