April: Growing Season

Welcome to April 2020 rubies.

Some say that April is the month of the ‘growing season’, when trees and flowers begin to “open”. We love this idea and think it is a positive way to approach the lockdown. To use this time to work on ourselves and ‘grow’ so that when the lockdown is over, we open and emerge as the best version of ourselves. #riseupbeautifulyou

Less time outdoors means less chance of being infected. For this reason, we will be publishing new content daily to help keep you, our rubies, busy and allow you to grow and work on yourselves during the lockdown.     I would love to win the price so I can spoil my grans who is 82 she has been my pillar of strength in this lock down working from home while looking after 2 kids is no child’s play. She has been helping me a lot.

    I would really appreciate the R10k prize as I am a freelance makeup artist and have lost quite abit due to Covid-19. I’ve had postponements, cancelations, refunds and no new bookings coming through 😕 This is something that a lot creatives are going through and who work mostly within the bridal industry.
