Can I use Radiant Red® Red Boosting every day?
The shampoo is gentle and can be used daily. The conditioner was designed to give the best results when used every time you wash your hair, starting with the first wash after fresh coloring. Using this product every time you wash will help maintain your red shade longer.
We recommend waiting at least 24 hours after coloring before washing your hair with any products.
Is the Boosting Shampoo safe to use on color-treated hair?
The shampoo was specially created for color-treated hair so it is safe to use on color-treated hair, and will help to maintain your hair color and tone.
Can the Boosting Conditioner be used on different shades of red hair like auburn, burgundy-red?
This conditioner gives a natural-looking color boost to a wide range of red shades, ranging from the more coppery auburn to deeper burgundy-red shades by depositing key red tones and can be used on multiple tones of red. However, is not recommended for lighter shades of hair like blonde or very dark shades of hair.
Is the Boosting Shampoo color depositing?
This shampoo is not color depositing so it will not change the color of your hair. The shampoo was designed to protect your existing color and the conditioner was designed to boost your existing red tones to help maintain salon-fresh color for longer
Will the Boosting Conditioner change my hair color — and how long will the color effects last?
Yes, this conditioner will change your hair color in one use, and multiple uses will help gradually build to the desired color – so you can keep your favourite color for longer by continually using the product. This color boosting conditioner deposits dyes to the hair surface to maintain a more vibrant, richer color for longer. The resulting color is temporary, so if you stop using the product it should wash out of your hair within 4-8 washes.

This competition is open to all South African residents and rubybox members only. The prize is a personalised John Frieda haircare hamper. The hamper cannot be exchanged for cash. The selected winner will need to have a physical South African delivery address.
