Tip Tuesday this week is all about hair!
– Spend two minutes daily gently massaging your scalp to improve blood flow as a healthy scalp = healthy hair.
– Reduce frizz by drying your hair with a cotton t-shirt instead of a towel, then blow drying on the cool setting.
– Sleeping on a silk pillowcase will help to prevent hair breakage and damage that can happen in the middle of the night as you toss and turn.
– Dry, split ends make hair look dull and lifeless and having them trimmed off is the fast way to getting hair in good condition.
– For wild sexy hair, blow-dry with your head upside down using your fingers to tousle and add texture.
– For an instant grey/root cover up, blend powder eye shadow into hair and hold in place with hairspray for a quick fix until you can see your colourist.
– Shoulder bag straps and pushing sunglasses up on top of the head can cause breakage to your hair – especially on fine hair and hair that has been coloured.
– After conditioning, rinse your hair with cold water. This helps to seal the cuticle, making it harder for moisture to enter the hair follicle, which can cause frizz.
