It seems that these days every celeb has their own makeup line, but we won’t complain! From high-quality products to beautiful packaging, here are some of the very best makeup, haircare and skincare lines from our favourite celebrities.
Best of all – they’re all cruelty-free!
Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez
“Being Rare is about being comfortable with yourself. I’ve stopped trying to be perfect. I just want to be me.” – Selena Gomez
Selena’s brand has a beautiful ethos. It’s all about being you and accepting who you are, with all of your vulnerability and imperfections. Rare Beauty aspires to redefine “beautiful” by celebrating our differences and encouraging us to love ourselves unconditionally despite what societal beauty standards say. No matter your age, gender, race, class, sexual orientation or expression of identity, you’re bound to find something that resonates with you at Rare.
Fenty Beauty – Rhianna
If you haven’t heard of Fenty, where have you been! The beauty brand from absolute icon Rhianna has been all over the internet for the last few years, with famously high quality products that are both lightweight and buildable. RiRi sees makeup as a “weapon of self-expression”, and was inspired to create her own line when she realized that there was a lack of products for all skin types and tones. She encourages taking risks with makeup and never feeling pressure to express yourself in any particular way.
Haus Laboratories – Lady Gaga
“They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but at Haus Laboratories, we say beauty is how you see yourself.”
Lady Gaga has always been eccentric and fearless in her self-expression. Growing up she never felt beautiful – until she discovered makeup. She was inspired by watching her mother put on her face, and used makeup as a tool to find both her inner and outer beauty. That’s when Stephani Joanne Angelia Germanotta became Lady Gaga. She encourages others to reinvent themselves just as she did.
Pattern – Tracy Ellis Ross
This haircare brand caters specifically to coily and kinky hair. Tracy Ellis Ross encourages us to let our hair take up as much space as it wants. There’s no need to tame or stifle coily hair just because society tells us that we need to – embrace the beauty of it!
Kylie Cosmetics – Kylie Jenner
Famous for her lip kits (lipstick and a matching lip liner in one set), Kylie Cosmetics is one of the most popular makeup brands in the world and is the thing that made Kylie Jenner the youngest self-made billionaire in the world at only 21 years old. She made sure that her brand “captures the Kylie Jenner aesthetic”. They now offer skincare products too!
JLo Beauty – Jennifer Lopez
Flawless looking 51-year-old Jennifer Lopez’s skincare brand has a strong focus on anti-ageing. You don’t have to be middle-aged to start using anti-ageing products – the earlier you start the better! This way you’ll prevent signs of ageing before they appear rather than try to fix them once they’re there, which is much harder. JLo believes in beauty from the inside out – it all starts with taking care of your body and then using skincare to supplement healthy living.

I love wearing makeup. There are so many brands out there….am just not sure which would be most suitable for my skin type. Thank you rubybox.
I love the hair care line by Tracy Ellis Ross. I must say, more and more women are embracing their natural hair now, myself included and I’m loving it!! If we accept ourselves how we are, others are likely to follow suit. Taking care of natural coily hair can be stressful but it is possible, thanks to brands like these.
This article is a sweet reminder for me to take care of my skin. Especially now if I want to age gracefully.
I’ve been working on getting my mental health to functional but I must say, I forgot how the way I look has a big influence on how I feel aswell. Thanks for sharing the beautiful products, but I must say, it’s now difficult for me to choose one brand as they are all so awesome. Let the new me embrace make up and be open to try new brands.
