With the recent nation-wide lockdown for 21 days, please remember to take the time to look after yourself, mentally and physically, stay informed (#nofakenews) and help flatten the curve!
Here are a few steps to stay safe and how you can help slow the spread of the Coronavirus:
- Stay home – Avoid gatherings of more that 10 people. People that are at higher risk (With medical conditions, weak immune systems and pregnant women) can get very sick from COVID-19, protect them by staying home.
- Practice social distancing – keep about 2 meters away from others while in public. We are very fortunate to be able to have text, video call and social media just a click away- use it to stay in contact with friends and family!
- You’ve heard this a million times – wash your hands often. After being in a public space, coughing and sneezing.
- Don’t touch your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Sterilise surfaces that are being touched regularly throughout the day.
- Cover your coughs and sneezes. Wash your hands immediately afterwards.
If you have a mild illness – stay at home, ask your doctor for medical advice, avoid being in contact with others or wear a face mask if you are in contact with people. Remember to think of others that are at higher risk, protect them too ♥︎
We understand that these times are difficult and different, but keep your head up high, stay positive and do what you can.
