How To Conceal Dark Under-Eye Circles

When it comes to covering those horrible dark circles under your eyes all you need to do is follow these four basic steps.

Step 1

Prepare the skin with eye cream. Eye cream helps to plump the skin. Put a drop of eye cream on the tip of your finger and dab it lightly along the underneath area of your eye, do not put eye cream directly under your eyes as you will clog the pores.

Step 2

Apply foundation to your entire face. By applying foundation to your entire face this gives you a primary layer of camouflage so you therefore use less concealer.

Step 3

When selecting a concealer, opt for one with a peach or red undertone to colour-correct the dark shade of the circles. To find out more about selecting the correct concealer colour click here.

Step 4

Lastly add another layer of loose powder foundation to set the concealer and then blend it to match your skin. By dabbing a little translucent powder over the concealer this helps hold the look all day, this also prevents shininess and keeps the concealer from creating wrinkles or creases.
