Have you ever woken up the morning after a boozy night out, with that bad feeling in the pit of your stomach? Well we have news for you it is not nausea but more so that feeling of embarrassment and anxiety thanks to that last tequila shot you chugged back.
Unlike one of the many classic hangover cures that greasy english breakfast unfortunately won’t solve that hangxiety feeling.
These three steps can aide when it comes to soothing the aftermath caused the night before:
- How To Cope When You Are Out – If you don’t want to ditch the booze completely, we then advise you to incorporate water while out on the town. Either make spritzers i.e. wine and sparkling water or for every drink you have, ensure it is followed by a glass of water. This will prevent you from both extensively embarrassing yourself as well as keep that headache at bay the morning after.
- How To Cope When You Stress – Got a little to festive and did something off sides? Damage control may be in order such as a sorry text for your behaviour. But if it has anything to do with texting an ex, don’t stress the little things because in a week or so it is all forgotten. We advise you to take some you time with either a yoga class or with a 30 minute run the morning after, both practices will leave you feeling a lot better.
- How To Cope Instead of Resorting To Just Blocking It Out – Avoid chasing your hanxiety with a mimosa the morning after because trust us it will return later. Rather wait it out and take a nap rather than getting back onto the drinking train in the hope to cure your come down from the night before.
