Fearlessly Fresh

This weeks Tip Tuesday is all about staying ‘Fearlessly Fresh’ and sweat proof during summer!

Sweaty hair? Apply some roll-on deodorant to your hairline to prevent sweat ruining your fringe or ‘down-do’. (The white ‘soap bar’ kind works best)

Rough, dry feet? Mix equal parts Listerine, vinegar and water, then soak your feet for 15 minutes. You will be amazed by the results!

Blisters? If your gorgeous new summer sandals might cause blisters, rub some Vaseline to the blister prone area and this will help prevent any blisters from forming.

Body odour? If you’re working out a lot and sweating, be sure to drink loads of water as this will dilute your natural scent and you will give off less of a ‘pong’.

Fried frizzy hair? Run out of serum? Use a small amount of hand cream and smooth through your hair to help with damaged summer hair.

Sunburn? You should always be wearing enough sunblock to prevent sunburn, but if you are caught with sunburnt skin you should apply aloe vera gel. This gives an instant cooling relief as well as prevents peeling.

Breast sweat? Place some panty liners to the inside of your bra to prevent visible boob sweat, otherwise you can apply a quick swipe of deodorant to the under-breast region.

Covered in sand at the beach? Simply apply talcum powder to the covered areas, the sand should dust straight off. A must for every beach bag!

Fake tan streaks? Not to fear, next time simply mix a paste with baking soda and lemon juice, then rub over the streaky area. The streaks should get lighter as you rub. Disaster avoided…
