With the stressful day to day lives we live, we often forget the toll it takes on our bodies. A receding hairline can affect people with any hair texture, and to be honest it can become a major insecurity for some.
We have put together some ways to help you preserve your hairline and keep it healthy and happy.
Keep chemical treatments to a minimum
Whether you use a relaxer or dye your hair every couple of weeks, chemicals are straight up bad for your hair. We suggest you keep visits, and especially DIY home jobs, to a minimum in order to ensure that your hair doesn’t become dry and brittle which will lead to breakage.
Change up your style
If you often scrap your hair back in a bun or a ponytail, it can be the leading causes of a receding hairline. So if this is the case, try tie your hair back loosely and keep it down as often as possible. Otherwise you can opt for a soft headband or scarf instead to minimise tension on your hair and scalp.
Take supplements or vitamins
Hair loss can often also be due to the lack of certain vitamins. There are plenty of supplements on the market to help generate hair growth and prevent hair loss. Opt for a supplement that contains Zinc, vitamin B, fish oils and biotin to help combat hair loss and enhance hair strength. Click here to find out more about hair loss and how you can prevent it.
Check your face wash
Who would of thought, but yes your face wash might not only effect your skin but also the hairs which frame your face. These hairs can be negatively affected by any harsh chemicals found in your soap or face wash when they come in contact, which could damage the hairs and even cause them to fall out.
Unblock your pores
When the pores on our head like the pores on our face, become blocked either from hair-product build up, sebum or dirt, this can cause the hair to fall out as well as prevent new hair from growing. Therefore we advise that you use soothing haircare products that contain aloe vera to prevent any build up.
