Kondo-ing is the new dating trend and it’s the harshest one yet. The slang word ‘Kondo-ing’ made its way into our daily vocab curtesy of the hit Netflix show, Tidying Up with Marie Kondo.

The home makeover show has taught us all about incorporating change into our homes. But it has also brought about applying the principle to our relationship and to use tidying to inspire a new state of mind. People are now applying the newfound principles of their tidying regime to their prospective love interests.

Kondo-ing sees people cutting their love interests out of their lives if they aren’t bringing joy, with no prior warning, and no resolve to work out any issues. This is honestly the equivalent of clearing our your cupboard and donating the bag you labeled get rid of to the charity shop down the road.
