Gift a Survival Sleeping Bag this Winter for only R150
Street Sleeper is a NPO that upcycles advertising billboards destined for landfill into survival sleeping bags at night and as useful backpacks during the day.
Not only do these bags benefit the homeless during the cold winter nights, but the Street Sleeper initiative also creates job opportunities by hiring and upskilling previously unemployed people.
Since the beginning of winter, Street Sleeper has distributed an impressive 1200 bags. This has resulted in them having to close their online shop in order to catch up and fulfill existing orders, as they are still a small team working round the clock to meet the demand.
Street Sleeper still welcomes any donations for gift bags and these will be distributed as soon as they are made up.
