In this Tip Tuesday we discuss the dreaded Blackheads which most often occur on the nose area and chin.
So, what causes blackheads?
Blackheads form when a clog or plug develops in the opening of hair follicles in your skin. Each follicle contains one hair and a sebaceous gland that produces oil.
This oil, called sebum, helps keep your skin soft. Dead skin cells and oils collect in the opening to the skin follicle, producing a bump called a comedo.
When the skin over the bump opens, exposure to the air causes it to look black and a blackhead forms.
We recommend Bioré® Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strips. (Click here to read reviews from rubies who tested this product).
Formulated with tea tree oil, witch hazel, and menthol, which locks onto deep- down dirt and oil that can cause blackheads, and helps clean out pores even better than before so you get the deepest clean.
When used once a week, Bioré Pore Strips are proven to minimise the appearance of pores and minimise the re-occurrence of blackheads.
For clean skin and free pores. Because when you clean the pore, you clear the problem.
