rubies talk: Life Coaching

Hi rubies,

This week we have decided to focus on self-care and ways in which we can help ourselves get our sh*t together. So, in this spirit we thought to chat about mental health. We know life has become awfully strange and with no sense of much normality coming back anytime soon we know it can be challenging to face.

Have any of you heard of life coaching before? If not, life coaching is a wellness professional who helps people make progress in their lives in order to attain greater fulfillment. Life coaches are great to help aid their clients in improving their relationships, careers and day-to-day lives. Have any of you considered going to see a life coach? You may consider a life coach as a form of therapy. What are your views on life coaching? Do you think it would be beneficial to be able to help you cope with this pandemic? Would you give life coaching a try if you were given the opportunity?

    I have never until now heard of life coaching before so am not too sure what to think of it but sounds very interesting and fruitful. The Pandemic has Definately closed certain doors but on the Other hand opened Many as well. Survival became a part of everyday living for sure. After a very tough 2 years myself and family have been through, I am feeling very motivated a new year brings HOPE of endless POSSIBILITIES so I am Keeping the positive energy☺I would like a view on what others have experienced when they invested for a course with a life coach and perhaps I would consider it. Thank you Rubybox for always bringing us up to date articles which is prevalent in our time☺😊

    I have thought about it but never get around to doing something about it. I feel depressed, tired and unmotivated the last few months. I would give a life coach a try but would also need to consider the cost as I received no raise and everything else went up. Many people in the same boat here, I think.

    There are days when I feel like a super woman honestly and then there are days when I feel like I dont even want to get out bed, I will be so overwhelmed. I think it’s really important to look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that you got it and that you are beautiful and strong. I believe a life coach can be a wing to help you fly when your wings are broken

    As a health coach myself, I’ve found this pandemic has been ideal for people who decided to invest in themselves…possibly because they were scared of comorbidities and seeing friends or family members affected… but through working together, they gain so much more as they learn stress management, improve sleep routine, gain energy, confidence as well as the optimal weight and fitness they were initially after!
    Clearly by prioritising yourself, you are then able to thrive instead of merely surviving so once people have been through a program, they are astounded by the value and benefits they gain 🥰
