And just like that we are heading to the final 3 months of the year! Who knew the months would fly by like they have?

With Spring looming, we thought to make the most of the last 3 months of 2022. It’s time to get into a routine of practicing self-care. Yawn we know it might sound boring but it is so important. That way when Summer hits you’ll be feeling more fulfilled, happy and ready to take on the festive season with a spring in your step. [Who’s with us?👀🙋🏽‍♀️]

Instagram has us believing that in order to practice self-care all you need to do is take a photo-shoot worthy bath and post about it. Well we’re here to tell you it’s so much more then that. Self-care starts with doing just one thing for yourself. There’s no right or wrong way of doing it either, it’s simply putting one foot in front of the other and doing things for you.

Here are some self-care pointers shared by experts that include everything from snoozing more to spending time with the right people.

DISCLAIMER – these are merely ideas whether they suit you on the daily or you only manage to commit to them once a month that’s okay. The main priority is to add them to your routine to help yourself feel better, whenever.


Self-care tips for you to try:

  1. Drink some water first thing in the a.m.
  2. Write down 5 things every day that didn’t totally suck
  3. Make a menu for the week
  4. Try that new yoga class
  5. Take a new route to work
  6. Have a mini dance party
  7. Take 5 minutes to decompress every day
  8. Move for at least 30 minutes a day
  9. Get some sleep already
  10. Practice kegel exercises
  11. Strat your day with something pleasant
  12. Get your om on. [Mediation]
  13. Confront your negativity – on paper.
  14. Stop to smell the coffee – literally
  15. Have a family dinner
  16. Sit up straight
  17. Don’t eat the kale if you don’t like it
  18. Detox from technology and work
  19. Plan a workout date with a friend
  20. Enjoy breakfast
  21. Do some planks
  22. Say no to those dinner plans

So, take what you want from these twenty-two self-care tips for what’s left of 2022. You are in charge of your own destiny and we’re just here to uplift you and support you in the last 3 months of this year.       It’s imperative to follow a stringent sleep routine, it’s fabulous self care. Hydrate often for healthy glowing skin. Detox from technology every now & then allows us to focus on our self & keep the stress at bay.
