Beautiful Brows

Tip Tuesday this week is all about beautiful brows!

In Winter we all tend to ‘let go’ a little and take a break on our beauty routines, but we need to keep in mind that our brows ‘frame’ our face and they are one of the first things you notice when looking at someone. With this in mind we have put together some handy tips that every woman needs in order to keep her brows in perfect condition! (You’re welcome)

– First thing about brows is that there are no two brows that are the same, and every face has a different brow shape. One should never (ever) trim your own brows, it’s almost as impossible as cutting your own fringe. (I am sure we have all tried this at one stage in our life)

– If you have a few stray brows we suggest using tweezers, but to shape we recommend threading for the best results.

– If you tint your brows avoid using toner and moisturiser over this area as it will lighten the colour quicker than normal. If you are a budget gal and do your brow tinting at home, always remember to rather use brown in different shades depending on your skin tone and hair colour, never use black as this is far too harsh. (Keep this for eyelashes only)

– Before you start working with your brows always be sure to keep some hand sanitizer close by. Touching your face with dirty hands can lead to breakouts.

– Lastly – little insider secret – apply Castor oil to your brows every night to encourage growth, do this for roughly 6 weeks to see results.
