Where they've come from
Prounced Stee-la, the brand was founded by celeb makeup artist Jeanine Lobell in 1994. Born in Sweden, Jeanine moved to Los Angeles where she started her career by doing the makeup for music videos. Before long she was a sought-after makeup artist for magazine cover shoots and big award shows, and her popularity eventually led to her creating her own makeup line. Today, Stila is a favourite among consumers and beauty editors alike, and has won numerous ‘best of beauty’ awards for products in the range.

Where they're going
Stila believes that a woman’s makeup should be a signature of her own, thereby allowing her to create a look unique to her and her features. Stila’s products are soft and feminine, and they pride themselves on their fun packaging (which is environmentally responsible too). From shimmering eyeshadows to lip glosses and foundations, the range of products continually grows, and has even become a favourite on the runways of New York Fashion Week.
